Mission Statement
Dear Family and Friends,
As many you know Elliott in the Park, LLC is the successful program that we have built and become very proud to provide to Upper Westside families for the last 15 years. It has always been our hope to continue providing a safe, family friendly indoor space to call home where we can continue focusing on each child individually, their individual needs, and the needs of the family.
Over the years, many families have often shared with us what they were looking for in terms of programming for their children. Parents first and foremost desired a safe space; then they hoped for loving, non competitive programs where teachers would take the time to know their child as well as their individual needs. All designed to help guide them through their physical, emotional and social development.
In our commitment to your children we have developed a program that applauds the willingness to try just as loudly as the ability to succeed. Our program supports the idea that all children are different and therefore have different needs. We get to know those needs, allowing us to support and love the things that make them different: And we encourage them all to be different.
As you all know, another dynamic of creating our special environment is class size. Over the years the Elliott Program has been taught all over Manhattan, with the high hope and anticipation at each new beginning that we were reaching more families and developing our "dream program". But, class size, was usually large (12- 17 toddlers per class, and up to 30 children 3 years and up). Our challenge was how to build a program that can meet the standards we created.
Here is our plan
* We will keep the mommy & me classes limited to 10 children with 2 teaching adults
* The classes for children 3 yrs. and up will be limited to 12 - 15 children
* In purchasing the full session, you will have the opportunity to attend as many of your purchased classes as you like on other days, providing there is room available and you make a reservation
*Families enrolled at Elliott in the Park, LLC will also receive free "Open Gym" sessions, available everyday from 12:30 – 1:15PM
